Key Responsibilities
As a Jr. System Specialist, you will have the opportunity to learn from and work alongside a Senior System Specialist Technician. Key responsibilities include:
- Perform wiring checkout, system start-ups, and programming using provided commissioning tools.
- Create and manage graphics and databases related to building automation systems.
- Work according to project schedules and work packages assigned by the supervisor or project manager.
- Maintain regular communication with supervisors regarding project status and execution.
- Represent Siemens professionally when communicating with customers, establishing good working relationships.
- Ensure all site files, shop drawings, and documentation are updated for each project.
- Comply with company safety rules, statutory regulations, and customer requirements.
- Assist with material tracking, delivery, and project documentation support.
Eligibility and Required Skills
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a college, university, or technical school in electrical, mechanical, or control engineering programs.
- Willingness to learn practical skills in building systems and relevant standards.
- Self-motivated, calm under pressure, and able to work through complex problems.
- IT proficiency, including knowledge of Windows applications and MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Preferred Assets:
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, MSTP.

- Relevant training or certification in a related trade.
